The Case of the Disappearing Students

I write this first entry still “tingling” from an amazing inaugural Robins Stadium game day experience. Just terrific. Enjoyed it beyond measure. Spiders win in overtime, 27-20 over Elon.

I was sitting on the forty yard line on the Richmond side, near some players’ families, with the other season ticket holders. It was great fun; we cheered our lungs out. I’m wondering, though, what the student experience was like. Did UR students like their seats, was it a good experience? And what’s the deal with the disappearing students—during crunch time and during overtime it looked like there were a third less students than were there all game long. I could see if it was a blowout, but the game was tight and undecided? What was that about?
